Why This Is Special
Recessed into a stair riser or deck edge, this light marks the step boundary so it stays visible at night without a separate porch light shining down on the whole area. At 3 or 4 watts, it draws very little power for the safety benefit it provides on an outdoor staircase. Being recessed rather than surface mounted keeps it flush with the deck surface, so it does not catch a foot or collect debris the way a raised fixture would. Its low profile suits a patio or deck stair where a taller light would look out of place. It functions as a safety feature as much as a decorative touch, marking each step edge in low light.
Made from durable metal and quality acrylic. Small variations in tone are normal from piece to piece.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Rated for outdoor use; clear off dust and debris now and then to keep the light output strong.
