I like this lamp because the head adjusts in any direction, so you can aim light exactly where you need it instead of washing the whole room. Mounting it on the wall frees up the entire nightstand, which makes a real difference in a small bedroom. The iron and wood build has actual weight to it and a workshop character that plastic sconces never match. And since it takes a standard E27 bulb, changing the brightness or warmth later costs you nothing but a bulb.
