USB PC Monitor Light Strip

Powered entirely through a USB port, this strip clips or sticks to the back of a monitor to add ambient backlighting without needing a separate power adapter. It plugs into the monitor itself, a nearby USB hub, or a laptop, so it turns on and off along with whatever else is already running. The backward facing light softens the contrast between the screen and the wall behind it during evening use. It is a low cost way to add colored bias lighting to a desk setup without running extra cables to an outlet.
