An inflatable is the fastest way to make a yard read as Halloween from the street. It goes up in minutes, packs down into a bag the rest of the year, and is visible from far further away than anything at ground level.
The things that decide whether one survives October are all in the setup. Use every stake and tether that comes in the bag rather than half of them, put it on ground that drains, and keep the blower and the plug raised and dry. A deflated inflatable lying in a puddle is almost always a staking or a drainage problem rather than a fault.
Check the height in the Dimensions section against where you plan to put it, and leave clearance from branches, gutters and anything that can catch the fabric when it moves in wind.

They can stay up, and most people run them from dusk until bedtime on a timer. Deflate and secure one before high wind or a storm, because a large inflatable catches a lot of air and the tethers take the strain.
An outdoor rated extension cord on a GFCI protected outlet. Keep the connection raised off the ground and covered, and avoid daisy chaining several cords. The blower runs continuously while the inflatable is up.
Usually a leak at a seam or around a zipper, a blower intake blocked by leaves or fabric, or a slack tether letting it lean. Check the intake first, then the stakes, then look for a tear. Small holes patch well with the repair material supplied.
Make sure it is completely dry before it goes away, because damp fabric packed for a year is how mildew starts. Fold it loosely rather than compressing it hard, and keep it somewhere rodents cannot reach.
