Solar path lights all disappoint by about eleven at night. This is wired, so it stays at full brightness for as long as you want it on. The aluminum body also survives a winter properly rather than going chalky after one season, and three heights let you light a path and a border with the same fitting.

- This is a wired bollard rather than a solar stake, which is the reason to choose it: it gives steady light all night instead of fading by midnight, so it suits a run along a path or a bed where the light has to be reliable.
- Have an electrician make the connection with the power off at the breaker.
