Key Features

The best bedside light is two lights: a tight beam for the book and a soft wash for the room. This lamp does both from one wall plate, and the beam angle adjusts so the light lands on the page. It is made from metal with a painted finish.

In the box

One wall lamp is included with its mounting hardware, in the shade color, orientation and color temperature you select, black or white in a left facing or right facing version, and in warm white or cool white at 5500K to 7000K, so order one of each orientation if a pair is going either side of a bed.

Light and power

It is 11.8 inches long and 6.5 inches tall and projects 4.3 inches from the wall, in painted metal, so slight color variations can occur between batches.

Setup

It is a hardwired installation, so turn the power off at the breaker before starting and have an electrician run a supply to the spot if there is nothing there already.

Good to know

It has an adjustable reading spot and a soft backlight panel, so one fixture puts a focused beam on the page and a low glow into the room at the same time.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth.

Shipping & Returns

Do I need an electrician?

Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.

In principle, everything is fine, just one thing wasn't taken into account (or I didn't notice when ordering). Left and right. If hung near the bed on one side and the other. Otherwise, everything is great.
