This frame is made from MDF, a dense engineered wood that holds a cleaner edge and flatter surface than solid wood at a lower cost. It is offered in several sizes, including a square option, covering most standard prints and photos in one listing. MDF's density means the frame resists warping over time better than thin plywood or plastic frames.
