Most mirror lights are fixed, which is why they light the top of the head and leave the face in shadow; this one tilts to put the light where it is actually needed. The diffuser spreads the beam wide enough to avoid the harsh edge you get from a bare strip. Warm white at high color rendering keeps skin looking like skin rather than washed out. The moisture resistant build means it belongs in a real bathroom rather than only a dry dressing room.

Materials
- Made from aluminum and metal with a polycarbonate diffuser.
- Available in black, silver or brass.
- Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on a plated metal fixture.
Care
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth.
- Dry the metal after cleaning and after showering so water does not sit on the finish.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on the polycarbonate diffuser.
- Switch the power off at the wall and let the fixture cool before you clean it.

About this piece
How does it install above a mirror?
The backplate screws to the wall over a bathroom rated junction box and the fixture hardwires behind it. Mount it just above the mirror, then tilt the head down. Use a qualified electrician.
Which finish should I pick?
Match the tapware. Black suits matte black fittings and dark tile, silver works with chrome, and brass warms up cream, stone and wood vanities.
What light color does it give?
A fixed 3000K warm white with high color rendering, which is the flattering end of the range for makeup and shaving. There is no color switching on this model.

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
