Key Features

This lantern is shaped like a crescent moon, which sets it apart from the round or box lanterns nearby. Its metal cutwork lets light escape in a pattern rather than a flat glow, casting small shapes on nearby walls or ground once lit. Light and power

It draws up to 5 watts.
The solar panel and rechargeable battery are built in, so there is no wiring to run and no batteries to buy, and it is rated for outdoor use.
It charges through the day and comes on by itself at dusk.
Charge it in full sun for a full day before the first night, then wipe the panel every few months.

Setup

It stands 33 inches tall with the stake fitted and the moon ornament is 6.5 inches across.
Push the stake into soft ground where the panel gets direct sun for most of the day, and water hard ground first so the stake goes in straight rather than snapping.

Good to know

At 33 inches it sits above low planting, so put it at the front of a border or beside a path where it is seen rather than behind a shrub.

I love these garden lights, they look very nice, but being realistic and based on the experience of the many that I have bought, I have to say that in a couple of years they stop working or only light up for a few hours even when in full sunlight because the batteries are weak. My advice is to look for a good deal and enjoy them while they last.
