• Measure the pot your plant is in now and choose a shape at least an inch wider across the top, or the plant will not drop in level.
• Use the faceted shapes for a larger plant, and the smaller ribbed and cylinder shapes for a succulent or a herb.
• Check whether there is a drainage hole before planting into it.
• If there is none, keep the plant in its nursery pot and set that inside, which is the safer way to water it.

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth to keep it fresh. When watering a plant kept in its nursery pot, lift it out to drain in the sink so no water collects at the bottom of the planter. The size of each shape is shown in its option name, so check the one you choose before ordering.
