Recessed In Ground Well Light

Choosing the face and placement

• Allow for the 5.1 inch depth below the surface.

It needs a mains supply run to each position, so have an electrician make the connection with the power off at the breaker. A mounting sleeve is included with each fitting. Plan the cable route before any paving goes down, since it is far easier than cutting into a finished patio.

For a path, space the lights evenly along one or both edges. For a wall or a tree, place the light close to the base so the beam rises across the surface.

Square faces set into a grid of square slabs can look especially neat when each light sits at the center of a slab, lined up with the joints on either side.

For care, wipe the ring and lens with a soft, dry cloth. Sweep grit off the glass before walking on it so the lens does not scratch, and dry the steel ring after heavy rain to keep water spots from setting. Slight variation in the brushed steel finish is normal.
