A frosted glass globe on a slim arm gives you the kind of bedside light usually found hardwired in a good hotel room. Choose the battery version and it goes up on any wall without an electrician or a cord running down to the outlet. The frosted glass spreads the glow evenly, so there is no bright spot staring back at you from the pillow. Battery versions come with a remote, which means you can switch it off without getting out of bed.

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
