The shade is molded glass with real depth in the modeling, so it catches light across the brow and jaw instead of looking like a flat novelty. Against the matte black backplate the contrast is strong enough to hold a wall on its own without any other art. Because the socket is a standard E14, the character of the light is yours to set with the bulb. It suits a bar or a corridor where a conventional sconce would simply disappear.

- Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal, and small differences in the glass are part of the molding process.
Care
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth.
- Dry the metal after cleaning so moisture does not mark the finish.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners on the glass, which will scratch the surface and dull the highlights.
- Switch the power off at the wall and let the bulb cool before you clean or change it.

About this piece
How does it wire in?
The rectangular backplate screws over a standard wall box and the bracket hardwires behind it, run from a wall switch. Have the wiring done by a qualified electrician.
Where does it work best?
It suits a bar, a corridor, a dining wall or a games room, anywhere a plain sconce would fade out. Hang it near eye level so the modeling in the glass is visible.
Which bulb should I use?
An E14 LED at 3000K warm white matches the look in the photos. A clear filament bulb sharpens the highlights in the glass, while a frosted one softens them.

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
