Light and power

It measures 15.3 inches tall and 4.9 inches wide, in a weatherproof ABS housing with the solar panel built into the top, and the tone varies slightly between batches.
There is no wiring and no outlet: it charges itself during the day, so it can go on a wall or a post anywhere the panel gets several hours of direct daylight.
The motion sensor brings it up when something moves, and the remote sets how it behaves without anyone climbing to reach it, so keep the remote somewhere it will be found again.

Setup

Aim it across a driveway, a gate or a yard rather than straight down, and mount it high enough to be out of reach.

Good to know

Wipe the panel clean when it dulls.

Do I need an electrician?

Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.

I trust its performance because I've used it before. I think its lifespan is about 1 year. Since my house is in the countryside, I installed it in the yard, and my parents are very satisfied. It's a pity that the price has gone up a bit since before, but I should keep an eye on prices and stock up when it's cheaper.
