This solar powered lamp combines super bright LEDs with a built in motion sensor, so it stays dim or off to conserve battery until movement is detected nearby, then switches to full brightness. That behavior makes it more useful as a security or entry light than a light that stays on continuously all night. The waterproof housing holds up under direct rain exposure without an overhang. Motion triggered brightness also extends battery life significantly compared to lights that run at full output all night on a fixed timer.
