Most walls worth hanging art on do not have a socket above them. This runs on its own battery and mounts with adhesive or screws, so the wall you choose is about the artwork rather than about where the wiring happens to be. The remote saves reaching up behind the frame every time.

- Fix the mount centered above the frame, hang the light on it and angle the head down across the picture.

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
