Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Nora Furnish ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) on norafurnish.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, like local storage and tracking pixels, work in a comparable way. Some are set by us and some by the service providers we use.
How we use them
Strictly necessary
These make the store work: keeping items in your cart, checkout, signing in, security and fraud prevention, and remembering your cookie choices. They are set by Shopify, our e-commerce platform, and cannot be switched off. Examples: _shopify_essential, cart, cart_currency, localization, _tracking_consent.
Preferences
These remember choices you make on the site, such as how many products to show per row, your wishlist and recently viewed items. Most are stored in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
Analytics
These help us understand how the store is used so we can improve it, for example which pages are visited and where visitors get stuck. We use Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (which records anonymized page interactions such as clicks and scrolling, with sensitive text masked). They may set identifiers such as _shopify_analytics, _ga, _clck and _clsk.
Marketing and advertising
These measure how our ads perform and show you relevant ads on other sites. We use advertising and measurement tools from Google (Google Ads and Google Merchant Center), Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok, and WeTracked to send these measurements to the ad platforms. They may set identifiers such as _shopify_marketing, _gcl_au, _uetvid, _fbp and _ttp.
Other services on our pages
Product reviews are provided by Loox, sign up forms by Getsitecontrol, chat by Shopify, express checkout by Shop Pay, and email marketing by Shopify Email. These may store their own cookies or local storage to work.
Your choices
- Cookie banner: where the law requires it, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies for norafurnish.com, which brings the banner back.
- Opt out of sale or sharing: you can opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working.
- Ad settings: you can also manage ad personalization in your Google, Microsoft, Meta and TikTok account settings.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
