About this piece
The 7.1 by 10.6 inch lantern suits tables, steps and small corners. The 8.3 by 12.2 inch lantern gives more presence on the ground beside a door, a bench or the edge of a patio.
It charges from daylight through its solar panel and lights up in the evening. Leave it in a sunny spot during the day, and keep the panel clear of dust and leaves so it charges fully.
Yes. It needs no cable or outlet, so you can carry it from the patio table to the garden path or the deck steps, as long as it gets enough daylight to charge.
Most of our products ship free within the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders may have shipping costs calculated at checkout.
Yes, it is made for outdoor use.
It does not hang on a cord, chain or rod, so there is no drop to set.
It is made from plastic rather than a steel or zinc frame.
It is not a pendant, so it is not designed to hang over an island. The full measurements are in the Specifications section on this page if you want to check it for another spot in the kitchen.
We do offer several size variants for many of our fixtures, check the size selector on the product page! If you don't see the exact dimension you need, send us a message and we can point you to the closest option in our catalog.

QWhich size should I choose?
NORA FURNISH
The 7.1 by 10.6 inch lantern suits tables, steps and small corners. The 8.3 by 12.2 inch lantern gives more presence on the ground beside a door, a bench or the edge of a patio.
QHow does it charge?
NORA FURNISH
It charges from daylight through its solar panel and lights up in the evening. Leave it in a sunny spot during the day, and keep the panel clear of dust and leaves so it charges fully.
QCan I move it around?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It needs no cable or outlet, so you can carry it from the patio table to the garden path or the deck steps, as long as it gets enough daylight to charge.
QWhat sizes are available?
NORA FURNISH
Two sizes, listed as 7.1 by 10.6 inches and 8.3 by 12.2 inches. Exact measurements for each version are in the Dimensions section, so you can check the fit on a table or step.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
It is made from plastic, which keeps it light enough to carry around the garden. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of fixture.
QWhat color is the light?
NORA FURNISH
The LED gives a warm light with a listed color temperature of 2700K to 3999K, similar to a cozy indoor lamp, so faces and planting look natural at night.
QHow does the solar panel charge?
NORA FURNISH
It charges from daylight during the day and lights up in the evening. Place it in a sunny spot and keep the panel clear of dust, leaves and shade from furniture.
QDoes it need an outlet or wiring?
NORA FURNISH
No. It is solar powered, charged by daylight, so there is no cable to run and no outlet to find. That is what makes it easy to move around the garden.
QCan I use it on a balcony?
NORA FURNISH
Yes, as long as the balcony gets daylight for the solar panel. It needs no wiring, which makes it a simple way to light a small outdoor space in the evening.
QHow many can I order?
NORA FURNISH
It is sold singly or in sets of 2, 4, 6 or 8, so a single table lantern or a full row along a garden path arrives in one matching style.
