Design approach

Warm, layered and easy to live with

Good hospitality lighting is never one big light. It is a few layers working together, each doing its own job, all in the same warm family of color.

  • Start with a welcome. A statement chandelier or a cluster of pendants gives the arrival a focal point and sets the tone for the whole property.
  • Keep it warm. Light around 2700K to 3000K in lobbies, dining rooms and guest rooms makes skin, wood and fabric look their best.
  • Light people, not just rooms. Sconces at eye level and lamps on tables make faces and conversations feel close and relaxed.
  • Plan for every hour. Dimmers and separate circuits let breakfast feel bright and dinner feel intimate in the same space.
  • Repeat the details. One finish carried from the entry to the corridors ties a large property together.

Common questions

info@norafurnish.com
Can you match one finish across a whole property?

Often, yes. Many fixtures come in several finishes, and some can be made in a finish that is not listed. Tell us the finish you want and we will confirm which pieces can match before you order.

Can you supply lighting for many rooms at once?

Yes. Send the rooms and quantities and we will quote the full list together, with one invoice and the timing for every piece.

How long does it take?

We reply to every request within 2 business days. Once you approve the quote, production and delivery usually take 4 to 7 weeks. Your quote shows the timing for your exact order.

Can I return a custom or made to order piece?

Custom and made to order pieces are built for your order, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind. If anything arrives damaged or faulty, we replace it or refund it. Email photos to info@norafurnish.com as soon as you can and we will put it right.
