Is a bulb included?
No. The sconce takes one standard E27 bulb, which is not included, so buy one at the same time. A standard socket also means you can choose a warmer or brighter bulb later and replace it easily.
Does it need an electrician?
Yes. It is hardwired and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. Because of the long arm, the backplate should be fixed into a stud or into suitable wall anchors.

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
