Why This Is Special
The arm runs well over three feet, so the shade can sit above a chair or across a bed rather than close against the wall where a shorter fitting would leave the light behind the reader. Taking a standard E27 bulb is worth noticing: a sealed LED fitting is thrown away when the diode fails, and this one is relamped for a couple of dollars or changed to a warmer bulb later. The wide iron shade throws light down in a pool instead of scattering it across the room. Black and gold read very differently, one quiet and one warm.

Made from iron with a painted finish and an iron shade, available in black or gold. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the painted finish. Switch the power off at the wall before cleaning or changing the bulb.
One wall sconce is included per order with its mounting hardware, in the finish you select, black or gold. It takes one standard E27 bulb, which is not included, so buy a bulb at the same time. The long arm pivots at the wall and at the shade, so both the reach and the angle are set by hand. It is hardwired and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. Because of the arm length, fix the backplate into a stud or use suitable wall anchors. All required hardware and assembly instructions are included. Bulbs, decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
