The whole top is the switch, which is far easier to find in the dark than a cord switch. Made from wood with a wood grain shade. Wood is a natural material, so the grain and the color of the piece you receive will vary a little from the photos.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from moisture and direct sunlight, which is what dries and fades wood. Do not use solvent cleaners on the shade.
