About this piece
A full charge runs an evening of low light. Brighter settings draw more from the battery, so if you plan to use it at full brightness, top it up over USB C during the day and it will be ready for the evening.
Yes. Tap the top to cycle between warm, neutral and cool light, and hold your finger on it to dim through the range. Warm and low suits dinner or bedtime, while cool light helps with a quick task.
No. The machined aluminum body has enough weight that it stays in place when you tap the touch top. That matters on a touch lamp, because the top is how you switch it, change the color and dim it.
No batteries to buy, it runs on an internal rechargeable battery, so you can place it anywhere with no cord to hide. A full charge gives you an evening of low light.
There is no bulb to fit, the light source is built right into the lamp. Nothing extra to buy or replace there.
The price is for one lamp along with one USB C charging cable, in the color you choose, gold, silver or black. Everything you need to get started comes in that one set.
It is made from anodized aluminum with a diffused shade, giving it a clean, sturdy look. Slight variation in finish tone is normal on anodized metal, so each piece has its own character.

QHow long does a charge last?
NORA FURNISH
A full charge runs an evening of low light. Brighter settings draw more from the battery, so if you plan to use it at full brightness, top it up over USB C during the day and it will be ready for the evening.
QCan I change the color of the light?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. Tap the top to cycle between warm, neutral and cool light, and hold your finger on it to dim through the range. Warm and low suits dinner or bedtime, while cool light helps with a quick task.
QWill it slide when I tap it?
NORA FURNISH
No. The machined aluminum body has enough weight that it stays in place when you tap the touch top. That matters on a touch lamp, because the top is how you switch it, change the color and dim it.
QIs this a good lamp for a dining table?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It stands 11.22 inches high, low enough that people can see each other across the table, and it has no cord, so it can sit right in the center. Dim it and set it warm for a soft glow over dinner.
QWhat finishes are available?
NORA FURNISH
The lamp comes in anodized gold, silver or black. Gold warms up wood and cream rooms, silver suits a cooler modern space, and black blends with dark furniture. Slight variation in tone is normal on anodized metal.
QHow big is the lamp?
NORA FURNISH
It stands 11.22 inches high on a 5.12 inch base. The small footprint leaves room for plates, glasses or a book around it, and it fits easily on a nightstand, a shelf or a bar cart.
QDoes it take a bulb?
NORA FURNISH
No. The light source is built in, so there is no bulb to buy, fit or replace. Everything runs from the internal rechargeable battery, which you charge with the USB C cable in the box.
QHow do I charge it?
NORA FURNISH
Use the USB C cable that comes with the lamp. Charge it fully before the first use, then top it up when you need to. Avoid leaving it plugged in and charging indefinitely once it is full.
QCan I take it outside?
NORA FURNISH
You can carry it onto a balcony or patio for an evening, which is one of the best uses for a cordless lamp. No weather rating is listed, so keep it out of rain and bring it back indoors afterward.
QCan it work as a night light?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. Hold the touch top to dim it down to a low glow and tap to the warm setting. That level of light is enough to find your way across a bedroom without switching on the main light.

Didn't realize I needed to supply batteries, so there was a delay before I could use it. Works great now that it's running.
