Cube Pillar Light sits on a pier, gate post or fence cap, which is where a path light cannot reach. It is available solar powered or hardwired; choose the version above. Built from stainless steel. Suited to a gate, driveway or fence line.

About this piece
Measure the top of the pillar and choose the closest width: 9.8 inches for fence posts and slim piers, 11.8 inches for standard gate piers, and 15.8 inches for wide pillars and wall ends.
The low versions, 6.5 inches tall, sit neatly on a pillar like a glowing cap. The taller versions, 10.6 to 16.5 inches, have more presence and suit a main entrance or a gate.
Solar charges by daylight, so there is no cable to run to a distant gate or fence. Hardwired suits pillars near the house, where an electrician can bring power for a permanent installation.
Tracking is emailed as soon as your order ships, and current shipping details are under Shipping & Returns on this page.
The listing does not state a UL or ETL certification for this light, so email info@norafurnish.com before ordering if you need one.
It does not hang on a cord, chain or rod, so there is no drop to set. The full measurements are in the Specifications section on this page.
Not with compatible LED bulbs and a quality dimmer. Buzzing is almost always caused by mismatched dimmers or older incandescent-only dimmer switches. We recommend LED-rated dimmers (Lutron Caseta is our go-to recommendation) and quality LED bulbs.
Only light assembly is needed, and the included instructions walk you through it. The Hardwired version connects to your household wiring, while the Solar version charges by daylight and needs no wiring. Choose the one you want in the Power Supply option.
The shade diameter is listed in the product specifications tab on the listing. That said, if you message us with your order or SKU number we're happy to confirm the exact measurement before you purchase.

QWhich size fits my pillar?
NORA FURNISH
Measure the top of the pillar and choose the closest width: 9.8 inches for fence posts and slim piers, 11.8 inches for standard gate piers, and 15.8 inches for wide pillars and wall ends.
QLow or tall cube?
NORA FURNISH
The low versions, 6.5 inches tall, sit neatly on a pillar like a glowing cap. The taller versions, 10.6 to 16.5 inches, have more presence and suit a main entrance or a gate.
QSolar or hardwired?
NORA FURNISH
Solar charges by daylight, so there is no cable to run to a distant gate or fence. Hardwired suits pillars near the house, where an electrician can bring power for a permanent installation.
QWhat sizes are available?
NORA FURNISH
Six sizes: 9.8 by 9.8 by 6.5, 9.8 by 9.8 by 10.6, 11.8 by 11.8 by 6.5, 11.8 by 11.8 by 12.6, 15.8 by 15.7 by 6.5 and 15.8 by 15.7 by 16.5 inches.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
It is made from stainless steel with a black finish. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of outdoor fixture, and hardware is included.
QWhat color is the light?
NORA FURNISH
The listed color temperature is a warm 2700K to 3999K, which gives a welcoming glow and flatters brick, stone and render around the pillar at night.
QHow does the solar version work?
NORA FURNISH
It charges from daylight and lights up in the evening, so no cable is needed. Place it on a pillar with good daylight and keep the panel clear of leaves.
QDoes the hardwired version need an electrician?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. A hardwired pillar light connects to your power supply, so an electrician should run the cable and make the connection with the power switched off at the breaker.
QHow many can I order?
NORA FURNISH
It is sold singly or in sets of 2, 4, 6 or 8, so a pair of gate piers or a whole fence line can be finished with matching cubes in one order.
QCan I mix sizes?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. Every size shares the same cube design, so low cubes along a fence and taller cubes on the gate piers still read as one family of lights.
