It is made for a few stems at a time. The water channel between the two panels is slim, so add stems one at a time rather than pushing a whole bunch in, which would crumple them. Short stems and single blooms suit it best.

Acrylic scratches more easily than glass, so wipe it with a soft damp cloth and keep abrasive cleaners and scourers away from it. Handled gently, the panels stay clear so the stems remain the focus.
