Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
Can I put it on a dimmer?
Only the dimmable version, which is dimmed by its own remote. Do not fit the 3 color switch version to a dimmer, since that version changes color rather than brightness.
Which length should I choose?
Choose 35.4 inches for a desk, a small island or a compact table, and 47.2 inches for a standard island or dining table. Both are 0.8 inches deep.
Black or gold?
Black suits minimal and modern rooms and disappears against a pale ceiling. Gold adds a warmer, softer accent that suits wood, marble and cream tones.
Shipping, returns and help
Is shipping free?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Can I order it in another size or finish?
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.
How do I reach you?
Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

Yes. It adds a remote control that adjusts both brightness and color, anywhere from warm 3000K to cool 6000K, without touching the wall switch at all.

NORA FURNISH
Yes. The slim line lights the whole width of a desk without the glare of a single downlight, and it leaves the wall above free for shelves.
