Reeded Glass Wall Sconce reads as a decorative piece on an entry or patio wall before it reads as a light. It is wired in rather than solar, so the output holds up through winter and on overcast days. Built from acrylic and stainless steel. Suited to a porch, patio or entry wall.

Common Questions

Answered by the Nora Furnish team

About this piece

Which length should I choose?

The 17.7 inch sconce suits a standard front door or a small porch. The 23.6 and 31.5 inch lengths suit taller doors and garages, and the 39.4 inch length gives a strong vertical line beside a tall entrance.

Warm White or White?

Warm White gives a cozy, welcoming glow that suits most entrances, brick and wood. White gives a crisper, brighter light that suits modern facades, concrete and cool gray stone.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is a hardwired fixture, so it connects to your home's wiring. An electrician should install it with the power switched off at the breaker, especially when fitting a matching pair.

Does this ship with free shipping?

Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.

See Shipping & Returns on this page or our Shipping Policy for full details.

Is this light available in a larger or smaller size?

We do offer several size variants for many of our fixtures, check the size selector on the product page! If you don't see the exact dimension you need, send us a message and we can point you to the closest option in our catalog.

What tools do I need to install this light?

Typically just a flathead and Phillips-head screwdriver, wire strippers, and a voltage tester for safety. No special tools required. Everything else (mounting plate, screws, wire nuts) is included in the box.

What material is the shade/frame made from?

Material details are listed in the product specifications. Most of our shades are metal, glass, or fabric depending on the style. We're happy to confirm specifics if you send us the product link or title.

Is this UL listed or ETL certified?

The listing does not state a UL or ETL certification for this light, so email info@norafurnish.com before ordering if you need one.

What are the exact dimensions of this light?

Hi there! The dimensions are listed in the product description under specifications. If you need exact measurements for a custom ceiling cut-out or specific clearance, feel free to message us and we'll pull the spec sheet for you.

Shipping, returns and help

Is shipping free?

Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.

What is your return policy?

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.

What if it arrives damaged or faulty?

We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?

Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.

Do I need an electrician?

Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.

Can I order it in another size or finish?

Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.

How do I reach you?

Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

10 questions

QWhich length should I choose?

NORA FURNISH

QWarm White or White?

NORA FURNISH

Warm White gives a cozy, welcoming glow that suits most entrances, brick and wood. White gives a crisper, brighter light that suits modern facades, concrete and cool gray stone.

QDoes it need an electrician?

NORA FURNISH

Yes. It is a hardwired fixture, so it connects to your home's wiring. An electrician should install it with the power switched off at the breaker, especially when fitting a matching pair.

QWhat sizes are available?

NORA FURNISH

Four sizes: 5.1 by 3.1 by 17.7 inches, 6.3 by 3.9 by 23.6 inches, 6.3 by 3.9 by 31.5 inches and 6.3 by 3.9 by 39.4 inches, listed in the size menu above.

QWhat is it made of?

NORA FURNISH

The listing gives the materials as acrylic and stainless steel. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of outdoor fixture, and hardware is included.

QWhat light colors are there?

NORA FURNISH

Two: Warm White and White. The listing gives color temperature ranges of 2700K to 3999K and 5000K to 6500K across the options, from a cozy glow to a crisp light.

QWhat does the reeded texture do?

NORA FURNISH

Fine ribs across the diffuser break the light into soft lines, so the sconce glows with a gentle texture rather than a flat panel of light, day and night.

QIs it hardwired?

NORA FURNISH

Yes. It connects to your home's wiring, so an electrician should install it with the power switched off at the breaker. It then switches with your other exterior lights.

QHow many can I order?

NORA FURNISH

It is sold singly or in sets of 2, 4, 6 or 8, so a pair for the front door and matching sconces for the garage can arrive in one order.

QShould I use one or two by the door?

NORA FURNISH

A pair, one on each side of the door, gives a balanced, formal look. A single sconce on the handle side works well where the wall space is limited.
