Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
Which size should I choose?
The small tray, 7.9 by 3.9 inches, suits a soap dispenser on a narrow counter or windowsill. The large tray, 11.8 by 5.1 inches, holds a soap dispenser and a couple of bottles side by side.
Will it protect my countertop?
Yes. The food grade silicone is soft, so it will not chip a countertop or scratch a wood surface, and the raised lip keeps water and soap residue in the tray rather than on the furniture.
How do I clean it?
Lift it and rinse it under the tap when it needs cleaning, then wipe it dry. Do not leave it soaking or put it in the dishwasher, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight.
What material is the body?
The tray is made from food grade silicone, which is soft enough that it will not chip a countertop or scratch a wood surface. The raised lip also helps keep water and soap residue contained.
Is this price for one or for the whole set?
This price is for one tray, in the size and color you choose. Sizes run from a small 7.9 by 3.9 inches up to a large 11.8 by 5.1 inches.

Customer Reviews
QWhich size should I choose?
NORA FURNISH
The small tray, 7.9 by 3.9 inches, suits a soap dispenser on a narrow counter or windowsill. The large tray, 11.8 by 5.1 inches, holds a soap dispenser and a couple of bottles side by side.
QWill it protect my countertop?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. The food grade silicone is soft, so it will not chip a countertop or scratch a wood surface, and the raised lip keeps water and soap residue in the tray rather than on the furniture.
QHow do I clean it?
NORA FURNISH
Lift it and rinse it under the tap when it needs cleaning, then wipe it dry. Do not leave it soaking or put it in the dishwasher, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
Food grade silicone. It is soft, so it will not chip a countertop or scratch a wood surface, and slight color variation between screens and the finished product is normal.
QWhat colors are available?
NORA FURNISH
White, black, white marble pattern and black marble pattern, in a small or a large size. The marble patterns give the look of stone with the softness of silicone.
QWhat will it hold?
NORA FURNISH
It is the right shape for a soap dispenser and a couple of bottles. The small size suits a single dispenser, while the large size holds a dispenser and two bottles side by side.
QDoes it keep water off the counter?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. The raised lip keeps water and soap residue in the tray rather than on the furniture, so the counter around the basin stays cleaner and drier.
QIs it flexible?
NORA FURNISH
Yes, silicone is soft and flexible. That makes it gentle on surfaces and easy to rinse, but it is not designed for carrying loads from room to room.
QCan I use it in the kitchen?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It suits a kitchen counter or windowsill for dish soap and a small brush. Rinse it under the tap and wipe it dry when soap builds up.
QWill it fade?
NORA FURNISH
Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight, which can affect the color over time. A spot beside the basin away from a bright window suits it best.
