About the Mantra
Key Features
- Solar light projects a mandala pattern
- Sticks on with a pad, no wiring
- Warm white or color changing
- Sold singly or as a 2 pack
- For fences and garden walls
That means one light does the work of a whole run of path lights on a fence or a garden wall. It sticks on with a pad and wires to nothing, so there is no trench and no transformer. The color changing version is worth having outside where the pattern is the point.

Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
How big is the pattern it projects?
The cut metal body throws a mandala of light several feet across onto the surrounding wall or ground, even though the light itself is only 3.38 inches tall and 3.3 inches across. It looks best on a plain wall or fence.
How is it mounted?
It fixes with the supplied adhesive pad, so there is no drilling and no wiring. Stick it to a clean, dry surface where the solar panel on the top face gets direct daylight for as much of the day as possible.
How long does it stay on?
It switches on automatically at dusk and runs roughly six to eight hours on a full charge. Keep the panel clear of dust and leaves, since anything covering it cuts the charge it collects during the day.
Does this require hardwiring or does it plug in?
It runs on solar power, charged by daylight, so there is no wiring and nothing to plug in.
How is this packaged? Will it arrive safely?
Yes, fragile fixtures are double boxed with foam inserts and corner protectors. We have put a lot of effort into our packaging after early feedback, and damage in transit rates are very low. If anything arrives damaged, take photos and contact us immediately and we will make it right.
What voltage does this fixture run on? Is it compatible with US 110V?
It runs on solar power, charged by daylight, so there is no wiring and nothing to plug in.
Voltage details are in the Specifications section on this page.
Is this light available in a larger or smaller size?
Yes, we offer several size variants for many of our fixtures. Check the size selector on this page. If you do not see the exact dimension you need, email info@norafurnish.com and we can point you to the closest option in our catalog.
Is installation difficult? Do I need an electrician?
It runs on solar power, charged by daylight, so there is no wiring and nothing to plug in.
Does this ship with free shipping?
Yes, most products ship free within the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders may have shipping costs calculated at checkout.
Shipping details are under Shipping & Returns on this page.
Shipping, returns and help
Is shipping free?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Can I order it in another size or finish?
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.
How do I reach you?
Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

QHow is it mounted?

QHow long does it stay on?
NORA FURNISH
It switches on automatically at dusk and runs roughly six to eight hours on a full charge. Keep the panel clear of dust and leaves, since anything covering it cuts the charge it collects during the day.
QDoes it need any wiring?
NORA FURNISH
No wiring is needed. It charges from daylight through the solar panel on its top face and switches on automatically at dusk, so there is no trench, no transformer and no cable to run to the wall.
QWhat is the difference between warm white and color changing?
NORA FURNISH
The warm white version casts a calm, golden mandala that suits entrances and patios. The color changing version shifts colors automatically, which works well on a party deck or anywhere the pattern is meant to be the main feature.
QCan I buy more than one?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. Each light color comes as a single light or a two pack. A two pack is a simple way to light both sides of a door, or to start a row of patterns along a fence or a side passage.
QDoes it work on a shaded wall?
NORA FURNISH
It needs direct daylight on the solar panel on its top face to charge well. A wall in deep shade or under dense trees will cut the charge, so choose the sunniest spot you can, even if that means a different wall.
QHow big is the light itself?
NORA FURNISH
It is 3.38 inches tall and 3.3 inches across, in cut metal with a black powder coated finish. That small size fits on a narrow post, beside a door frame or on the side of a large planter.
QIs it waterproof?
NORA FURNISH
It is rated IP65 for outdoor use. Keep the panel clear of dust and leaves, rinse off garden dirt with a damp cloth and dry it, and avoid solvents on the powder coated finish.
QWhat surface should I stick it to?
NORA FURNISH
Mount it with the supplied adhesive pad on a clean, dry surface. Wipe away dust and let the surface dry fully before sticking it down, and choose a spot where the top face gets direct daylight.
