The iron shade is open on both ends, so light washes up and down the wall and gives a narrow space some actual depth instead of flat glare. The painted iron build feels like real workshop hardware, not a thin decorative copy. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. If the metal gets wet, dry it immediately to prevent water spots on the painted finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the paint. This is a hardwired fixture, so always turn off power at the switch or breaker before cleaning or changing the bulb.
One iron wall lamp is included in the lampshade style you select, from four black designs. The shade is 8.7 inches across and the head adjusts through 180 degrees, so the light can be aimed at a page or up the wall rather than being fixed. It is painted iron with a metal shade. The bulb is not included: the fixture takes one standard E27 base bulb and an LED bulb is recommended, so buy one before it goes up. Installation is hardwired and wall mounted with simple assembly required, and it accepts a wide voltage range, so turn the power off at the breaker before starting and have an electrician make the connection. Mounted on each side of a bed it frees the nightstand space a table lamp would take. Colors can vary slightly between screens and production batches.
