This wall lamp brings the look of an old factory fixture to a hallway, staircase, or bedside wall without any fuss. Mounted on each side of a bed, it also frees up nightstand space that a table lamp would take.

About this piece
Does it come with a bulb?
No. The lamp takes one standard E27 base bulb, and an LED bulb is recommended. Buy the bulb before the lamp goes up so you can test it as soon as the electrician finishes the connection.
Will it work on US household power?
Yes. It accepts a wide voltage range of 90 to 260V, which covers standard US household power. It is a hardwired fixture, so have an electrician make the connection with the power off at the breaker.
What is the difference between Black A, B, C and D?
All four are black painted iron and share the same 8.7 inch shade width. The letters mark four lampshade designs, and the profile varies by style, so compare the product photos to pick the shape you like best.
Will this work with my existing dimmer switch?
It depends on the dimmer model. Newer LED-compatible dimmers (Lutron, Leviton) work well. Older incandescent dimmers can cause buzzing or flickering. If yours is labeled 'LED compatible,' you should be fine.
Is this wired or does it plug in?
This fixture is hardwired and requires a standard electrical box in the wall. If you are not comfortable with electrical work, have a licensed electrician install it.
Does this light flicker or hum?
No flickering or humming when used with a compatible LED bulb and an LED-rated dimmer (if dimming). If you experience either, it's usually a dimmer compatibility issue and swapping to a Lutron Caséta or similar resolves it.
What bulbs does this use, and are they included?

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
