About the Wave

Key Features

Aluminum body with wavy up and down beams
2, 4 or 6 lights per fixture
White or warm white light
Lights the wall and ground at once
Hardwired for entries and facades

Wavy Beam Wall Light sends light both up the wall and down over the ground, so one fixture does two jobs. It is wired in rather than solar, so the output holds up through winter and on overcast days. Sold singly or in multi packs, so an entry, porch or facade can be covered in one order with everything matching.

Common Questions

Answered by the Nora Furnish team

About this piece

What does the number of lights change?

It changes how many wave beams the fixture casts. Two lights give a simple up and down pattern, while four or six lights give a richer, more decorative pattern on the wall.

Which light color looks best?

Warm white, 2700K to 3999K, makes the waves glow softly on brick, stone and wood. White, 5000K to 6500K, gives a crisp, modern look on white render or gray siding.

How many should I buy for a wall?

For a front door, a pair usually looks right. Along a garden or patio wall, space several evenly so the wave patterns repeat. Sets go from 2 up to 30.

How durable is the finish? Will it chip or tarnish?

No, our fixtures use powder coat or electroplated finishes designed to resist chipping, rust, and tarnishing under normal indoor conditions. For bathrooms or humid areas, we recommend choosing a fixture rated for damp or wet locations.

What are the exact dimensions of this light?

Dimensions are listed in the Specifications section on this page, including height, width, and any adjustable drop length. If you need exact measurements for a custom ceiling cutout or specific clearance, email info@norafurnish.com and we will double check.

What room size is this fixture best suited for?

Our product descriptions include recommended room sizing. As a rule of thumb, add the room length and width in feet and the sum in inches is a good starting diameter for a fixture. So a 10 by 12 ft room suits a fixture around 22 inches across.

Specs are in the Specifications section on this page.

Can this be used outdoors or in a covered patio?

Yes, it is made for outdoor use.

What is the return policy if I don't like it?

Yes, returns are open for 30 days. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before shipping anything back and we will walk you through the steps.

Do you offer this in a matte black finish?

Several of our fixtures come in multiple finish options including matte black, brushed nickel, antique brass, and white. Check the Finish or Color selector on this page to see available options.

Shipping, returns and help

Is shipping free?

Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.

What is your return policy?

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.

What if it arrives damaged or faulty?

We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?

Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.

Do I need an electrician?

Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.

Can I order it in another size or finish?

Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.

How do I reach you?

Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

10 questions

QWhat does the number of lights change?

NORA FURNISH

It changes how many wave beams the fixture casts. Two lights give a simple up and down pattern, while four or six lights give a richer, more decorative pattern on the wall.

QWhich light color looks best?

NORA FURNISH

Warm white, 2700K to 3999K, makes the waves glow softly on brick, stone and wood. White, 5000K to 6500K, gives a crisp, modern look on white render or gray siding.

QHow many should I buy for a wall?

NORA FURNISH

For a front door, a pair usually looks right. Along a garden or patio wall, space several evenly so the wave patterns repeat. Sets go from 2 up to 30.

QHow big is the fixture?

NORA FURNISH

It is compact, about 6.30 to 6.50 inches wide, 7.87 to 8.27 inches deep and 2.36 to 2.56 inches high. The exact measurements are listed in the Dimensions section of this page.

QWhat is the difference between 2, 4 and 6 lights?

NORA FURNISH

More lights create more wave beams and a richer pattern on the wall. Two lights look simple and elegant; six lights make a bold, decorative feature on a wide wall.

QWhat is it made of?

NORA FURNISH

It is made from aluminum. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of outdoor fixture, and the mounting hardware is included.

QIs the light warm?

NORA FURNISH

Choose warm white for a light between 2700K and 3999K, or white for 5000K to 6500K. Warm white flatters brick, wood and planting; white suits modern render and siding.

QCan I buy just one?

NORA FURNISH

Yes. It is sold as a single fixture or in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 or 30, so you can light one door or a whole garden wall.

QHow is it installed?

NORA FURNISH

It is hardwired, so an electrician should connect it with the power off at the breaker. All required mounting hardware and instructions are included with each fixture.

QWill the pattern show on a brick wall?

NORA FURNISH

Yes. On brick or stone, the waves pick out the texture of the surface, which many people find even more striking than on smooth render.

Pretty good overall

Does what it should, nothing fancy. The light is warm and inviting, not harsh at all. Gets the job done — no complaints that matter.

I recommend this product

Lovely, close to perfect

Love the warm color temperature. Only reason it's not five stars is I wish it came a touch bigger, but that's a me thing.

I recommend this product

Absolutely love it

The photos don't do it justice — it's gorgeous. It throws such a soft, even light. Heavier and more substantial than I expected, in a good way. Got here sooner than the estimate said. So glad I bought it.

Decent for the price

Pretty good, a few small things. Would've liked slightly better materials, but it works.
