Why This Is Special
A single black ring reads as one clean line on a ceiling, which is what makes it work in a room that already has a lot going on. The LED sits inside the glass rather than behind a visible bulb, so what shows is an even band of light instead of a row of bright points, and nobody at the table is looking into a glare. The dimming is the part that earns its place: the same fixture can be full brightness for cooking or homework and low for the end of the evening, without swapping anything. Three diameters cover a small island up to a wide dining table.
Made from a metal frame with a black glass diffuser ring and an integrated LED board. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. The depth of the black finish may vary slightly between batches.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Black glass shows dust and fingerprints more than pale finishes, so dust it more often than you would a clear fixture. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Switch the power off at the breaker before cleaning, and let the fixture cool first.
One ring pendant is included in the size and dimming type you select, along with the ceiling plate, 59.1 in of suspension wire and the mounting hardware. No bulb is needed or supplied, because the LED is built into the ring. Read the dimming option carefully, since it cannot be changed later. The 3 step version cycles through three preset brightness levels from the wall switch, so it needs no special wiring. The fully dimmable version needs a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit, so check what is already on the wall before choosing it. It is hardwired to a ceiling point rather than plugged in, so turn the power off at the breaker before starting and have an electrician make the connection. Set the wire length before tightening, and over a dining table leave about 30 to 36 inches between the tabletop and the ring.
