About the Nook
Key Features
- 12W, bright enough to light a doorway
- Acrylic diffuser keeps glare down
- IP65 sealed for porches or open walls
- Black aluminum, light from both ends
- Single light or sets of up to 8
A single clean line on the wall with light leaving both ends. At 12W it is bright enough to actually light a doorway rather than just decorate it, and the acrylic diffuser keeps the source out of your eyes. The IP65 seal means it works just as well on a covered porch as on an exposed wall.

Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
What does the diffuser do?
The acrylic diffuser softens the LED, so the light leaves the fixture as a gentle glow rather than a harsh point. That makes it comfortable beside a door or a seating area.
Can it go on an exposed wall?
Yes. The housing is sealed to IP65 against dust and water, so it suits an exposed wall as well as a covered porch. Check the wall fixings once a year on an exposed wall.
How big is it?
It measures 3.9 inches wide, 9.1 inches deep and 3.9 inches high, as listed in the Dimensions section. The compact form keeps it neat beside doors and windows.
Shipping, returns and help
Is shipping free?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Can I order it in another size or finish?
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.
How do I reach you?
Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

Customer Reviews
QWhat does the diffuser do?
NORA FURNISH
The acrylic diffuser softens the LED, so the light leaves the fixture as a gentle glow rather than a harsh point. That makes it comfortable beside a door or a seating area.
QCan it go on an exposed wall?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. The housing is sealed to IP65 against dust and water, so it suits an exposed wall as well as a covered porch. Check the wall fixings once a year on an exposed wall.
QHow big is it?

QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
It is made from aluminum with an acrylic diffuser, finished in black. The housing is sealed to IP65 against dust and water, and colors can vary slightly between screens and production batches.
QDoes it need bulbs?
NORA FURNISH
No. The LED is integrated, so there are no bulbs to buy and none to replace. The diffuser in front of it softens the light as it leaves the fixture.
QHow do I clean the diffuser?
NORA FURNISH
Use only mild soapy water on the acrylic diffuser, because solvents will scratch or cloud it. Turn the power off at the breaker first, and dry the housing afterwards.
QWho should install it?
NORA FURNISH
It is hardwired to a mains supply, so turn the power off at the breaker before starting and have an electrician make the connection. The mounting plate, screws and instructions are included.
QWhat comes in the box?
NORA FURNISH
Each order includes one wall light with its mounting plate, a packet of screws and an installation instruction sheet. Multipack options include the same fixings for every light.
QCan I buy a matching set?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. Multipack options ship the same fixture in the quantity you choose, up to a set of 8. Those options cannot be changed after the order is placed, so confirm them before checkout.
QWhat style of home does it suit?
NORA FURNISH
Its minimal black form suits modern and contemporary homes, and it also looks neat on traditional brick. The simple shape lets the light, not the fixture, take the attention.
