Everything you need to know
Curved Up and Down Wall Light sends light both up the wall and down over the ground, so one fixture does two jobs. It is wired in rather than solar, so the output holds up through winter and on overcast days. Sold singly or in multi packs, so an entry, porch or facade can be covered in one order with everything matching.

About this piece
Up and down lights usually look best in pairs or runs, so this light is sold in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 or 30. Every light in a set matches in size and finish.
For most front doors, the 4.7 by 11.8 inch size on each side reads well from the street. The smaller sizes suit side doors and narrow walls, and the largest suits a tall entrance.
Yes. The 3.2 by 7.9 inch size is also offered as a motion sensing version, which is handy for side doors, garages and paths that are only used now and then.
No, our wood and rattan fixtures are treated to resist normal humidity levels in interior spaces. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight for extended periods or in rooms with very high humidity. With reasonable care they maintain their appearance for years.
Material details are listed in the Specifications section on this page. Most of our shades are metal, glass, or fabric depending on the style. If you need specific composition details, email info@norafurnish.com and we will confirm.
Yes, we offer several size variants for many of our fixtures. Check the size selector on this page. If you do not see the exact dimension you need, email info@norafurnish.com and we can point you to the closest option in our catalog.
It is not a ceiling fixture, so a sloped ceiling does not affect it. The full measurements are in the Specifications section on this page.
Yes, returns are open for 30 days. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before shipping anything back and we will walk you through the steps.
No separate warranty is listed for this light. For damaged or faulty items, see Shipping & Returns on this page, or email info@norafurnish.com.
Shipping, returns and help
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.

We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.

QWhy is it sold in sets?
NORA FURNISH
Up and down lights usually look best in pairs or runs, so this light is sold in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 or 30. Every light in a set matches in size and finish.
QWhich size suits a front door?
NORA FURNISH
For most front doors, the 4.7 by 11.8 inch size on each side reads well from the street. The smaller sizes suit side doors and narrow walls, and the largest suits a tall entrance.
QIs there a motion sensor option?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. The 3.2 by 7.9 inch size is also offered as a motion sensing version, which is handy for side doors, garages and paths that are only used now and then.
QWhat finishes are available?
NORA FURNISH
Four finishes: black with gold, white with gold, black and white. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of fixture.
QWhat sizes can I choose?
NORA FURNISH
2.8 by 2.8 by 5.9 inches, 3.2 by 3.2 by 7.9 inches, 4.7 by 4.7 by 11.8 inches, 5.9 by 5.9 by 15.7 inches, and a motion sensing version in the 3.2 by 7.9 inch size.
QCan I buy just one?
NORA FURNISH
This light is sold in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 or 30, because up and down lights look best in matching pairs or runs along a wall.
QWhat color is the light?
NORA FURNISH
The light is warm, between 2700K and 3999K. That range makes an entrance feel welcoming and brings out the texture of brick, stone and wood.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
The body is aluminum, finished in black, white, or black or white with a gold accent. All required mounting hardware and instructions are included in the box.
QHow is it installed?
NORA FURNISH
It is hardwired, so an electrician should connect it with the power switched off at the breaker. Mount pairs at the same height so the beams line up.
QWhere is the motion sensing version useful?
NORA FURNISH
At side doors, garages and paths that are only used now and then. It stays off until someone arrives, while the main entrance can stay on a regular switch.

Exactly as pictured, which is rare these days. The dimming works smoothly across the whole range. No defects, no loose parts, just solid. Came quickly and in perfect condition. Priced really fairly for what you get. No regrets at all.

Brightness is perfect — cozy without being dim. Sturdy and clearly made to last. Took one star off only because setup took a little patience. Already thinking about ordering another.
