Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
How does it switch on?
It charges through the day and switches itself on at dusk, so there is no switch or timer to set. Place it where the panel gets good daylight so it charges fully.
Is there a cable to bury?
No. It runs on solar, so there is no cable to bury and no transformer to add. That makes it ideal for paths and borders far from an outlet, and easy to move later.
Which light color should I pick?
Warm White gives a softer, cozier glow that suits planting and timber. White is crisper, which suits modern paving. Keeping one color along a path makes the pools of light match.
Shipping, returns and help
Is shipping free?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Can I order it in another size or finish?
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.
How do I reach you?
Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

Customer Reviews
QHow does it switch on?
NORA FURNISH
It charges through the day and switches itself on at dusk, so there is no switch or timer to set. Place it where the panel gets good daylight so it charges fully.
QIs there a cable to bury?
NORA FURNISH
No. It runs on solar, so there is no cable to bury and no transformer to add. That makes it ideal for paths and borders far from an outlet, and easy to move later.
QWhich light color should I pick?
NORA FURNISH
Warm White gives a softer, cozier glow that suits planting and timber. White is crisper, which suits modern paving. Keeping one color along a path makes the pools of light match.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
It is made from ABS and PC. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of fixture, so each post may look a little different from the next.
QHow big is it?
NORA FURNISH
It stands 23 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 6 inches deep, and weighs 3.31 lb, a comfortable walking height for garden paths and lawn edges.
QWhere should I place it?
NORA FURNISH
Choose spots that get good daylight, so the panel charges fully. Avoid dense tree cover and the shade of tall hedges, which can leave the post dim in the evening.
QIs mounting hardware included?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. All required mounting hardware and instructions are included with each post, in the light color and set you select, so it arrives ready to place.
QDoes it work in winter?
NORA FURNISH
Yes, although shorter days mean less charging time. Placing the post in a clear, sunny spot and brushing off leaves or snow helps it stay ready for the evening.
QCan I move it later?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. Because it runs on solar with no cable, it is easy to move a post to a sunnier spot or to a new path as the garden changes over time.
QHow many come in a set?
NORA FURNISH
It comes as 1 piece or in sets of 2, 4, 6 or 8, so a single post can light a corner and a set can line a whole path.
