Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
Why a figure eight?
The light runs around one continuous loop, so from any seat at the table you see a smooth band of light rather than a row of separate bulbs or hot spots.
Is it bright enough for a dining table?
It runs at 64W in the fixed colors, or 75W on the dimmable version, and the listing puts the lit area at roughly 108 to 215 square feet, enough for a table for six.
Silver or gold?
Silver looks crisp and modern beside gray, white and black finishes. Gold is warmer and suits wood, marble and cream tones in a dining room.
Shipping, returns and help
Is shipping free?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Can I order it in another size or finish?
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.
How do I reach you?
Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

QSilver or gold?
NORA FURNISH
Silver looks crisp and modern beside gray, white and black finishes. Gold is warmer and suits wood, marble and cream tones in a dining room.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
It is made from electroplated aluminum with a silicone light diffuser, in a silver or gold finish. Slight variations in finish between units are normal.
QHow big is it?
NORA FURNISH
It is 39.4 inches long, 11.8 inches wide and 5.5 inches high, so allow for the width of the loops across the table as well.
QWhat wattage is it?
NORA FURNISH
The cool white and warm white versions run at 64W, and the dimmable version runs at 75W, with its remote control included in the box with it.
QDoes it need bulbs?
NORA FURNISH
No. The LED light source is integrated behind the silicone diffuser, so there are no bulbs to buy or change during the life of the fixture.
QWhat does the remote do?
NORA FURNISH
On the dimmable version, the remote sets both brightness and color, anywhere from warm 3000K to cool 6000K, without getting up to touch the wall switch.
QHow much area does it light?
NORA FURNISH
The listing puts the lit area at roughly 108 to 215 square feet, which covers most dining rooms, kitchen islands and open plan seating areas.
QIs it good over a kitchen island?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. The loop gives even light across the counter, and because it looks finished from every angle, it suits an island that people walk all the way around.
