Why This Is Special
A nine inch bar rather than a spot spreads light along the full width of a tread, which is what actually makes a step readable underfoot instead of lighting one corner of it. At three inches deep it beds into a riser without a deep chase. Die cast aluminum handles being kicked and rained on in a spot that gets constant traffic. A wide input voltage range suits it to a long run of steps on one circuit.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Keep the lens clear of grit and leaves so the tread stays lit.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single light or a set of two, four, six or eight. Each light is designed to be embedded, so a recess must be formed in the riser or wall. The LED is built in, so no separate bulb is bought and none is replaced later. It is hardwired, accepts a wide mains input, and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. It is sealed to IP65 against dust and rain. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
