Why This Is Special
This bolts onto the face of a wall rather than being recessed into it, which is the practical choice when the stairway is already built and cutting into masonry is not on the table. At just over a pound it goes up with ordinary wall plugs. The light is aimed down at the tread, so a flight is safe to use without a glare in the eyes on the way down. A wide input voltage range suits it to a long outdoor cable run.

Made from aluminum with a black finish and a glass lens. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the lens or the finish. Keep the lens clear of leaves and grit so the tread stays lit.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single light or a set of two, four, six or eight. Each light comes with its mounting hardware. This is a surface mounted fitting, so no recess needs to be cut and it can be added to a wall that is already built. The LED is built in, so no separate bulb is bought and none is replaced later. It is hardwired, accepts a wide mains input, and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. It is sealed to IP65 against dust and rain. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
