Common Questions

Answered by the Nora Furnish team

About this piece

With or without the light?

Choose With Light if the fan will be the main ceiling fixture in a bedroom or living room. Choose Without Light if the room already has good lighting from lamps or other ceiling lights.

Which blade finish should I choose?

Wood blades give a lighter, natural look that suits Scandinavian and Japandi rooms. Coffee blades are darker and warmer, and they pair well with walnut furniture and a Black or Gray body.

How big is it?

It measures 51.97 inches across and 11.02 inches tall, which suits most bedrooms and living rooms. Check the ceiling height so the blades sit comfortably above head level.

How much does this fixture weigh? Will my ceiling box support it?

The weight is listed in the product specs. Most of our fixtures are under 10 lbs, which standard junction boxes handle easily. If your fixture exceeds 35 lbs, you'll want a fan-rated brace box. When in doubt, consult an electrician.

Is there a warranty on this light?

No separate warranty is listed for this light. For damaged or faulty items, see Shipping & Returns on this page, or email info@norafurnish.com.

Can I use LED bulbs with this fixture?

Absolutely, we actually recommend LED bulbs. They run cooler, last longer, and consume far less energy than incandescent. Just stay at or below the max wattage listed on the fixture.

Does this ship with free shipping?

Most of our products ship free within the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders may have shipping costs calculated at checkout.

What is the maximum wattage for this fixture?

The maximum wattage is listed on the fixture label and in the product specifications. Using bulbs at or below this rating is important for safety.

Shipping, returns and help

Is shipping free?

Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.

What is your return policy?

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.

What if it arrives damaged or faulty?

We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?

Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.

Do I need an electrician?

Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.

Can I order it in another size or finish?

Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.

How do I reach you?

Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

10 questions

QWith or without the light?

NORA FURNISH

Choose With Light if the fan will be the main ceiling fixture in a bedroom or living room. Choose Without Light if the room already has good lighting from lamps or other ceiling lights.

QWhich blade finish should I choose?

NORA FURNISH

Wood blades give a lighter, natural look that suits Scandinavian and Japandi rooms. Coffee blades are darker and warmer, and they pair well with walnut furniture and a Black or Gray body.

QHow big is it?

NORA FURNISH

It measures 51.97 inches across and 11.02 inches tall, which suits most bedrooms and living rooms. Check the ceiling height so the blades sit comfortably above head level.

QWhat are the measurements?

NORA FURNISH

It measures 51.97 inches wide, 51.97 inches deep and 11.02 inches tall, as listed in the Dimensions section. Check the ceiling height before ordering so the blades sit well above head level.

QWhat is it made of?

NORA FURNISH

The listing gives the material as wood, and the blades come in a Coffee or Wood finish. The body comes in Black, White or Gray, and slight variation between units is normal.

QWhat colors are available?

NORA FURNISH

The body comes in Black, White or Gray, and the blades come in Coffee or Wood, so you can choose a light Scandinavian look or a darker, warmer combination.

QWhat is the difference between With Light and Without Light?

NORA FURNISH

With Light adds an LED light, so the fan can be the main ceiling fixture. Without Light is the fan alone, for rooms already lit by lamps or other lights.

QDoes it come with a remote?

NORA FURNISH

Yes. The product name lists it with a remote, so you can control the fan from the bed or the sofa instead of reaching for a pull chain or a wall switch.

QWhich rooms does it suit?

NORA FURNISH

It suits bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and guest rooms, especially in Japandi, Scandinavian and minimalist styles where natural wood already plays a part of the look.

QHow is it installed?

NORA FURNISH

All required mounting hardware and instructions are included. Ceiling fans are normally installed by an electrician with the power switched off at the breaker, and must be fixed securely to the ceiling.
