About the Highline
Key Features
- Aluminum and glass linear bar
- 3000K, 4500K or 6000K light
- Hardwired, steady output all year
- Sealed for permanent outdoor use
- Single bar or sets of up to 10
Long Strip Light gives a continuous line of light rather than a row of separate points, which is what makes a step or a deck edge read cleanly at night. It is wired in rather than solar, so the output stays the same through winter and on overcast days. Built from aluminum and glass and sealed for permanent outdoor use. Sold singly or in multi packs, so a step, deck, railing or eave can be covered in one order with everything matching.

Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
Which height should I choose?
Both bars are 39.37 inches long and 2.83 inches wide. The 1.18 inch height is the slimmer, more discreet option, while the 1.97 inch height has a deeper profile with more visual presence on a wall or ledge.
Which color temperature suits my home?
3000K gives a warm, welcoming glow that suits brick, stone and timber. 4500K is a balanced neutral, and 6000K is crisp white that suits concrete, render and very modern facades.
Is it solar?
No. It is hardwired, so the light stays the same through winter and on overcast days. Plan the route and the power feed with an electrician before installation.
Shipping, returns and help
Is shipping free?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Can I order it in another size or finish?
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.
How do I reach you?
Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
It is made from aluminum and glass. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of fixture, so bars in a set may differ very slightly.
QHow many bars do I need?
NORA FURNISH
Measure the run and divide by 39.37 inches, the length of each bar. Sets of two, four, six, eight and ten make long facades, decks and staircases easy to order.
QDoes it need an electrician?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It is hardwired, so plan the route and the power feed with an electrician before installation. All required mounting hardware and instructions are included.
QCan I use it on outdoor steps?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. A bar under each tread nose or along the side of a staircase outlines the steps with a clean line of light, which makes them easy to see at night.
QWill it work in winter?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It is hardwired rather than solar, so the output stays exactly the same through winter, on overcast days and on the longest nights of the year.
QWhich height is less visible?
NORA FURNISH
The 1.18 inch height is the slimmer and more discreet option. The 1.97 inch height has a deeper profile that suits larger walls and more substantial architecture.
QHow do I clean the glass?
NORA FURNISH
Switch the bar off and let it cool, then clean the glass with a soft damp cloth and dry it straight away. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can scratch the glass.
