Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
Does it need to be wired in?
No. It plugs into a standard US outlet with an inline push button switch, so there is no hardwiring. That makes it ideal for renters and for walls without a wall light point.
Full moon or crescent moon?
The full moon gives a bold, bright circle that stands out above a sofa or a bed. The crescent moon feels softer and more poetic, which suits a bedroom or a quiet reading corner.
Can I dim it?
No. The warm white LED is not dimmable. It gives a steady, gentle glow around the rim, which suits evening ambience rather than bright task light.
Shipping, returns and help
Is shipping free?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Can I order it in another size or finish?
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.
How do I reach you?
Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

Customer Reviews
QDoes it need to be wired in?
NORA FURNISH
No. It plugs into a standard US outlet with an inline push button switch, so there is no hardwiring. That makes it ideal for renters and for walls without a wall light point.
QFull moon or crescent moon?
NORA FURNISH
The full moon gives a bold, bright circle that stands out above a sofa or a bed. The crescent moon feels softer and more poetic, which suits a bedroom or a quiet reading corner.
QCan I dim it?
NORA FURNISH
No. The warm white LED is not dimmable. It gives a steady, gentle glow around the rim, which suits evening ambience rather than bright task light.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
It has an aluminum alloy frame with a printed oil canvas core and a raised relief finish. Slight variations in texture and color between pieces are normal, which gives each disc its own character.
QHow do I switch it on?
NORA FURNISH
It has an inline push button switch on the power cord. Plug it into a standard US outlet and press the button to turn the warm glow on or off.
QIs it good for renters?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It plugs into an ordinary outlet, so there is no wiring to change. It hangs with simple hardware and can move with you to your next home.
QWhat color is the light?
NORA FURNISH
The LED is warm white, a soft, cozy tone that suits bedrooms, living rooms and reading corners and makes the white mountains glow gently at night.
QWhich size suits a queen bed?
NORA FURNISH
The 23.6 inch disc suits a queen or king bed, giving the wall above the headboard real presence. The 19.7 inch disc suits a single bed or a smaller wall.
QHow deep is it?
NORA FURNISH
Both sizes are 1.6 inches deep, so the disc sits close to the wall like a framed picture and does not stick out into the room.
QCan I hang it in a bathroom?
NORA FURNISH
It is better suited to dry rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms and offices. Keep it away from steam and water, and out of direct sunlight.
