The sensor version stays dark all day and wakes at about 16 feet at night, so it lights up as someone approaches the door. The version without a sensor works from your wall switch.
Can it go on an exposed wall?
The housing is sealed to an IP45 rating against dust and water. A covered porch or a spot under an eave gives it more protection, and drying the housing if it gets wet protects the finish.
Does a bulb come with it?
No bulb is included, it takes a standard E27 bulb sold separately, so you can choose the brightness and light color you prefer.
How far does the sensor see?
The sensor sees about 16 feet, and it stays off entirely during the day, only responding after dark.
Is it rated for driving rain?
It is rated IP45, which handles rain and spray well. On a fully exposed wall with no shelter above, a higher rated fixture would be the safer choice.

Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
