Why This Is Special
This sets into the ground rather than standing on it, so the fitting disappears entirely and only the light on the wall or tree above is visible. That also means nothing to mow around or trip over, which matters on a lawn or a patio edge. A tempered glass top takes being walked on and stays clear, where a plastic lens would scratch and cloud. Two diameters cover a slim wall wash and a wider beam for a mature tree.
Two sizes are offered. The 5 inch version stands 7.48 inches deep with a 5.35 inch diameter and weighs 2.87 lb. The 7 inch version stands 9.25 inches deep with a 7.48 inch diameter and weighs 4.85 lb.
Made from aluminum with a transparent tempered glass top. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe the glass top clean whenever soil or grass clippings build up, since anything on the lens blocks the beam. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the glass. Keep the surrounding drainage clear so water does not pool over the fitting.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single light or a set of two, four, six or eight, in the diameter you choose. This is a recessed fitting, so a hole must be dug and the housing set flush with the surface, with drainage below it. It is hardwired, accepts a wide mains input, and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. The LED is built in, so no separate bulb is bought and none is replaced later. It is sealed to IP65. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
