About the Hampton
Key Features
- Aluminum bar for outdoor facades
- 18W, 24W or 36W output
- One continuous line of light
- Hardwired, steady through winter
- Sealed for permanent outdoor use
- Single bar or sets of up to 10
Wall Mount Strip Light gives a continuous line of light rather than a row of separate points, which is what makes a step or a deck edge read cleanly at night. It is wired in rather than solar, so the output stays the same through winter and on overcast days. Built from aluminum and sealed for permanent outdoor use. Sold singly or in multi packs, so a step, deck, railing or eave can be covered in one order with everything matching.

Common Questions
Answered by the Nora Furnish team
About this piece
Which power should I choose?
18W gives a softer wash that suits a smaller wall or an entry. 24W is a balanced middle option, and 36W gives the strongest wash for a tall facade or a wide wall.
How big is the bar?
Each bar is 1.42 inches wide, 1.65 inches deep and 39.21 inches tall, and it weighs 2.82 lb. That slim profile suits the side of a door, a pillar or a column.
Does it need an electrician?
Yes. It is hardwired LED, so plan the power feed and route with an electrician before mounting. All required mounting hardware and instructions are included.
Shipping, returns and help
Is shipping free?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?
Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
Can I order it in another size or finish?
Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.
How do I reach you?
Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

Customer Reviews
QWhich power should I choose?
NORA FURNISH
18W gives a softer wash that suits a smaller wall or an entry. 24W is a balanced middle option, and 36W gives the strongest wash for a tall facade or a wide wall.
QHow big is the bar?
NORA FURNISH
Each bar is 1.42 inches wide, 1.65 inches deep and 39.21 inches tall, and it weighs 2.82 lb. That slim profile suits the side of a door, a pillar or a column.
QDoes it need an electrician?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It is hardwired LED, so plan the power feed and route with an electrician before mounting. All required mounting hardware and instructions are included.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
It is made from aluminum with an LED light source. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of fixture, so bars in a set may differ very slightly.
QShould I mount it vertically or horizontally?
NORA FURNISH
At 39.21 inches tall and slim in section, it suits vertical mounting beside a door, on a pillar or on a column. Follow the included instructions for the mounting position.
QHow many bars do I need for my entrance?
NORA FURNISH
A pair either side of the front door is the classic arrangement. For a larger facade, add pairs at windows or columns to carry the rhythm across the house.
QWill it work in winter?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It is hardwired rather than solar, so the output stays the same through winter, on overcast days and on long nights, which suits permanent facade lighting.
QWhich output suits a brick wall?
NORA FURNISH
For a typical brick facade, 24W gives a balanced wash that shows the texture without looking harsh. Choose 36W for a tall wall and 18W for a small entry.
QHow heavy is it?
NORA FURNISH
Each bar weighs 2.82 lb. Fix it securely with the included mounting hardware, and plan the power feed with an electrician before installation begins.
QCan I use it on a garden wall?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. Repeated bars along a garden wall wash it with even light and turn it into a soft glowing backdrop for the planting in front of it.
