Everything you need to know
Rectangular Sensor Wall Light stays dark until someone approaches, so it is not burning power all night. It is wired in rather than solar, so the output holds up through winter and on overcast days. Built from stainless steel. Suited to a side path, garage or back door.

About this piece
Choose motion sensor for side paths, garages and back doors, where light is only needed when someone arrives. Choose no motion sensor for a front door or facade you want lit all evening.
The light sits between 4000K and 4999K, a neutral white that shows steps, locks and keys clearly. It is brighter and crisper than a warm porch light.
The 12.6 inch length suits the side of a door, the 23.6 inch length suits most walls and garages, and the 31.5 inch length gives a long, architectural line on a wide facade.
Yes, customers consistently comment on the solid build quality. Our frames are steel or die cast zinc alloy, which gives them a premium weight and feel without being overly heavy for the ceiling mount.
Yes, fragile fixtures are double boxed with foam inserts and corner protectors. We have put a lot of effort into our packaging after early feedback, and damage in transit rates are very low. If anything arrives damaged, take photos and contact us immediately and we will make it right.
Yes, all of our fixtures are rated for standard US 110 to 120V. They are not dual voltage unless the listing specifically states that.
Voltage details are in the Specifications section on this page.
It is not a ceiling fixture, so a sloped ceiling does not affect it. The full measurements are in the Specifications section on this page.
Tracking is emailed as soon as your order ships, and current shipping details are under Shipping & Returns on this page.
Dimensions are listed in the Specifications section on this page, including height, width, and any adjustable drop length. If you need exact measurements for a custom ceiling cutout or specific clearance, email info@norafurnish.com and we will double check.

Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.

QShould I choose the motion sensor version?
NORA FURNISH
Choose motion sensor for side paths, garages and back doors, where light is only needed when someone arrives. Choose no motion sensor for a front door or facade you want lit all evening.
QWhat color is the light?
NORA FURNISH
The light sits between 4000K and 4999K, a neutral white that shows steps, locks and keys clearly. It is brighter and crisper than a warm porch light.
QWhich length should I pick?
NORA FURNISH
The 12.6 inch length suits the side of a door, the 23.6 inch length suits most walls and garages, and the 31.5 inch length gives a long, architectural line on a wide facade.
QWhat lengths does it come in?
NORA FURNISH
It comes in 12.6, 23.62 and 31.5 inch lengths, listed as 12.6, 23.6 and 31.5 inches in the menu. Every length is 3.15 inches wide and 1.57 inches deep.
QWhat is the difference between the two styles?
NORA FURNISH
The Motion Sensor style stays dark until someone approaches. The No Motion Sensor style works like a normal light on your switch, which suits a front door or a facade.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
The body is stainless steel with a black finish. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of outdoor fixture.
QIs the light warm or cool?
NORA FURNISH
It is a neutral white between 4000K and 4999K. That is crisper than a warm porch light and makes steps, locks and keys easy to see.
QWhere should I mount the sensor version?
NORA FURNISH
Mount it beside or above the door people walk to, facing the path they use. Keep it away from a busy street or a neighbor's yard so passers by do not trigger it.
QCan I buy several for different doors?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It is sold singly or in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 or 30, and each light comes with its mounting hardware and instructions.
QDoes it need an electrician?
NORA FURNISH
Yes. It is hardwired, so an electrician should make the connection with the power switched off at the breaker before mounting it on the wall.

Love the warm color temperature. You can tell it's well made the moment you unbox it. Transformed our bedroom. Only reason it's not five stars is I wish it came a touch bigger, but that's a me thing.
NORA FURNISH
Hi Michelle, Thanks for the detailed and honest review. Glad it looks great in the bedroom. As for the sizing: we hear you, and this is something we are working on improving. Email us at info@norafurnish.com if anything else comes to mind. Sarah, Nora Furnish
