Why This Is Special
A pleated fabric shade softens the light in a way a metal cone cannot, which is what makes this suit a bedroom rather than a study. The swing arm reaches well over two feet, so the shade can be brought across an armchair and pushed back afterwards. At 8.6 lb it is light enough to move between rooms without effort. The retro shape sits comfortably beside older furniture where a minimal metal lamp would look out of place.

Made from metal with a pleated fabric shade. Slight variation in the fabric between pieces is normal.
Dust the fabric shade with a soft brush or a lint roller rather than a damp cloth. Wipe the metal with a soft, dry cloth. Switch the lamp off and unplug it before changing the bulb.
One floor lamp is included per order with its shade. The swing arm and the shade angle are set by hand and hold their position. It plugs into an ordinary outlet, so no wiring work is needed. Bulbs are not included, so buy one at the same time. Note that it is lighter than most floor lamps, so site the base where it will not be knocked. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
