Common Questions

Answered by the Nora Furnish team

About this piece

How big is the sconce?

It is 12.60 inches wide, 20.87 inches tall and 8.27 inches deep. That is a generous size that gives a front door real presence, so check the wall space beside the door frame before ordering.

Which finish should I choose?

Black gives a crisp, classic outline on light walls. Bronze gives an aged, traditional look that suits brick and stone. The colorful finish is a playful accent for a patio or garden wall.

What color is the light?

The light is warm, between 2700K and 3999K. That warm glow suits the retro style and makes an entrance or courtyard feel welcoming in the evening.

How durable is the finish? Will it chip or tarnish?

No, our fixtures use powder coat or electroplated finishes designed to resist chipping, rust, and tarnishing under normal indoor conditions. For bathrooms or humid areas, we recommend choosing a fixture rated for damp or wet locations.

What voltage does this fixture run on? Is it compatible with US 110V?

Yes, all of our fixtures are rated for standard US 110 to 120V. They are not dual voltage unless the listing specifically states that.

Voltage details are in the Specifications section on this page.

Can the height be customized for high ceilings?

It does not hang on a cord, chain or rod, so there is no drop to set. The full measurements are in the Specifications section on this page.

Can I use LED bulbs with this fixture?

Yes, we recommend LED bulbs. They run cooler, last longer, and use far less energy than incandescent. Stay at or below the maximum wattage listed in the Specifications section on this page and match the bulb base (E26 or E12).

Does it come with mounting hardware and instructions?

Yes, it ships with the mounting hardware it needs and an instruction sheet.

How long is the included hanging cord or chain?

It does not hang on a cord, chain or rod, so there is no drop to set. The full measurements are in the Specifications section on this page.

Shipping, returns and help

Is shipping free?

Yes. Standard shipping is free on every order delivered within the United States, with no minimum purchase.

What is your return policy?

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. Email info@norafurnish.com before sending anything back.

What if it arrives damaged or faulty?

We send a replacement at no charge, and the return costs you nothing. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to info@norafurnish.com.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return arrives and is approved, the refund usually shows on your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

Is there a discount when I buy more than one item?

Yes. Add 2 items to your cart and you save 10%, add 3 or more and you save 15%. It applies automatically, no code needed, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.

Do I need an electrician?

Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.

Can I order it in another size or finish?

Every size and finish available is listed in the options above. For help finding the closest match in the catalog, email info@norafurnish.com.

How do I reach you?

Email info@norafurnish.com. The team works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST), and replies within 1 to 2 business days.

QHow big is the sconce?

NORA FURNISH

It is 12.60 inches wide, 20.87 inches tall and 8.27 inches deep. That is a generous size that gives a front door real presence, so check the wall space beside the door frame before ordering.

QWhich finish should I choose?

NORA FURNISH

Black gives a crisp, classic outline on light walls. Bronze gives an aged, traditional look that suits brick and stone. The colorful finish is a playful accent for a patio or garden wall.

QWhat color is the light?

NORA FURNISH

The light is warm, between 2700K and 3999K. That warm glow suits the retro style and makes an entrance or courtyard feel welcoming in the evening.

QWhat are the exact measurements?

NORA FURNISH

The sconce is 12.60 inches wide, 20.87 inches tall and 8.27 inches deep. Measure the wall beside your door to make sure there is room for it to sit comfortably.

QWhat is it made of?

NORA FURNISH

It is made from aluminum and glass. Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on this kind of outdoor fixture, especially on the bronze and colorful finishes.

QWhat finishes are available?

NORA FURNISH

It comes in black, bronze and a colorful finish. Black is crisp and classic, bronze looks aged and traditional, and the colorful finish is a playful accent for gardens and patios.

QIs the light warm?

NORA FURNISH

Yes. The light is between 2700K and 3999K, a warm range that makes the glass glow golden and brings out the detail in the metal design.

QCan I buy a matching pair?

NORA FURNISH

Yes. It is sold singly or in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 or 30, so a pair for the front door or a whole run along a garden wall arrives matched.

QHow high should I mount it?

NORA FURNISH

A little above eye level beside a door usually works well, so the light falls on the doorstep without shining into people's eyes. Mount pairs at exactly the same height.

QDoes it need an electrician?

NORA FURNISH

Yes. It is hardwired, so an electrician should connect it with the power off at the breaker. All required mounting hardware and instructions are included.
