A light spends most of its life switched off. Slide to see how it looks at noon, and how it changes the room after dark.
Styled room render, shown at true scale.
Everything you need to know
The light leaves a silicone strip rather than a bare bulb, so you get a soft even wash instead of a glare spot in your eye at the bedside. Black and gold sit on the same slim frame, so the finish is the only thing that changes.
At a glance
Dimensions vary by variant. Select your preferred option above. Five lengths are offered: 23.6, 31.5, 39.4, 47.2 and 55.1 inches. Each length is built on one of two square profiles, 1.97 inches wide by 1.97 inches deep, or 2.36 inches wide by 2.36 inches deep.

About this piece
The bar comes in 23.6, 31.5, 39.4, 47.2 and 55.1 inches. Match it to what sits below or beside it: a shorter bar beside a nightstand, a longer one above a headboard, a console or a piece of art.
The 3 step setting changes the color of the light between 3000K, 4500K and 6000K, not the brightness, so do not fit a dimmer switch. It is offered on the black 23.6, 31.5, 39.4 and 47.2 inch bars.
No. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy and none to replace. The light passes through a silicone diffuser, which gives an even line of light instead of bright spots.
The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to buy. The light color is set by the Light Color option you choose.
Our fixtures use powder-coat or electroplated finishes designed to resist chipping, rust, and tarnishing under normal indoor conditions. For bathrooms or humid areas, we recommend choosing a fixture rated for damp or wet locations.
It should not flicker or hum in normal use. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to match.
The light comes from the built in LED rather than a bulb.
The LED is built in, so the light color does not depend on a bulb. The light color is set by the Light Color option you choose.

QWhich length should I choose?
NORA FURNISH
The bar comes in 23.6, 31.5, 39.4, 47.2 and 55.1 inches. Match it to what sits below or beside it: a shorter bar beside a nightstand, a longer one above a headboard, a console or a piece of art.
QWhat does 3 step dimming do?
NORA FURNISH
The 3 step setting changes the color of the light between 3000K, 4500K and 6000K, not the brightness, so do not fit a dimmer switch. It is offered on the black 23.6, 31.5, 39.4 and 47.2 inch bars.
QDoes it need a bulb?
NORA FURNISH
No. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy and none to replace. The light passes through a silicone diffuser, which gives an even line of light instead of bright spots.
QWhat lengths are available?
NORA FURNISH
The bar comes in 23.6, 31.5, 39.4, 47.2 and 55.1 inches. Each length is built on a square profile of 1.97 or 2.36 inches, so the bar stays slim against the wall whichever length you choose.
QWhich finishes can I choose?
NORA FURNISH
Black and gold, both on brushed aluminum. Black gives a crisp line against pale walls, and gold adds warmth against wood or cream. Every length is available in both finishes with warm light.
QCan I use a dimmer switch?
NORA FURNISH
No. The light wires to a standard wall switch. The 3 step setting changes the color of the light, not the brightness, so a dimmer switch should not be fitted to this light.
QWhich light color should I pick?
NORA FURNISH
Warm light suits bedrooms and living rooms. The 3 step option, available on the black 23.6, 31.5, 39.4 and 47.2 inch bars, switches between 3000K, 4500K and 6000K for rooms used for work and rest.
QWhat is it made of?
NORA FURNISH
The bar is brushed aluminum with an iron mounting plate and a silicone light diffuser. Slight color variation between the photos and the piece you receive is normal, so allow for a small difference in the finish.
QHow is it installed?
NORA FURNISH
It wires to a standard wall switch. Turn the power off and have an electrician make the connection. One wall light comes with its mounting plate, screws and instructions, so nothing else is needed for mounting.
QCan I mount it vertically?
NORA FURNISH
The product photos show the bar mounted vertically as well as horizontally. A vertical bar suits a narrow wall beside a bed or a doorway, while a horizontal bar suits headboards and consoles.

The glow it gives off is beautiful in the evening. Transformed our bedroom. Only reason it's not five stars is I wish it came a touch bigger, but that's a me thing. No regrets at all.
