Light and power

The wall plate is 2.6 inches across on versions with a switch and 2.8 inches across on versions without one, the gooseneck arm is 11 inches long and the head is 2.4 inches long.
The LED is built in, so no bulb is needed or included.
Read the option carefully before ordering, since it decides whether the lamp has its own switch on the body and whether it takes a USB lead.
A version with no switch has to be controlled from elsewhere.

Good to know

Mount it at about shoulder height when you are sitting up, and hold it in place first to check the light lands on the page.
Bend the gooseneck after it is fixed and aim the head down onto the book.
Wipe it with a dry cloth.
