Gate pillars on a traditional house look bare with a modern box light on top. This octagonal lantern echoes old palace lanterns, with eight clear glass panels and an antique bronze finish that suits brick, stone and stucco. You choose the E14 bulb, so a candle style bulb can give it a warm old world glow. Solid copper takes the weather and only gains character over time.

About this piece
Does it include a bulb?
No. It takes one E14 bulb. A clear candle style LED bulb looks best through the glass.
Where does it go?
On top of a gate pillar, fence post or low garden wall.
Is it weatherproof?
It is rated IP55, so rain and sprinkler spray are fine, and the copper body does not rust.

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
