The open mesh is the whole effect: it leaves the bulb on show and scatters a fine pattern across the wall that a solid shade would swallow. Natural wood against black iron keeps it warm rather than purely industrial, so it settles into a bedroom as easily as a kitchen. A standard E27 socket means a clear filament bulb for drama or a frosted one for a softer room. The compact body sits close enough to the wall to work in a narrow hallway.

Materials
- Made from natural wood and iron with an open metal mesh shade.
- Available in a black finish with natural wood.
- Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal, and the grain and tone of the wood differ from piece to piece.
Care
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth and dust the mesh with a soft brush.
- Dry the metal after cleaning so moisture does not sit on the finish, and keep the wood away from damp.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Switch the power off at the wall and let the bulb cool before you clean or change it.

About this piece
How does it install?
The wood backplate screws over a standard wall box and the arm hardwires behind it, run from a wall switch. Have the wiring done by a qualified electrician.
Where does it suit best?
Beside a bed, along a hallway, over a kitchen counter or in a dining nook. Because the bulb is exposed, keep it slightly above or below direct eye level when seated.
Which bulb should I fit?
One E27 bulb, not included. A clear filament bulb throws the sharpest mesh shadows, while a frosted warm white bulb gives a gentler, more even glow.

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
